About the opportunity:

The primary responsibility of the Residence Administration Officer is to ensure that administration systems facilitate effective facility management. All incoming contacts with the facility are to be handled efficiently and effectively; including telecommunications; personal contacts and mail.


The Residence Administration is to be accountable to the Residence Manager for the administration area, and is to assist the Residence Manager with stock control using the Arcare order system as directed.

You will ensure that administration systems facilitate effective residence management and will assist the Residence Manager with employee rostering and stock control using the Arcare order system as directed. 

The successful applicant must possess the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the health or aged care industry is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in rostering highly desirable
  • Availability to start as soon as possible is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage rostering and staff allocations
  • Proficient in computers and use of software; including Microsoft, Rostering Software (Time Target / Human Force), spreadsheets, databases and Outlook is highly desirable
  • Administration Certificate / diploma or relevant tertiary qualification combined with experience in a relevant administration setting is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated strong customer service ethos and commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Have highly developed verbal and written communication skills and thrives under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, independency and provide proactive support within a team
  • Successful applicants are required to have a National Police Record Check (required to be within 6 months of the issue date or willingness to obtain)
  • Current NDIS card or willingness to obtain one
  • All successful applicants will be required to have an influenza vaccination & be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, as an inherent requirement of the role.
