About the opportunity: The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Ensuring meals and refreshments are provided that meet the resident’s individual needs
• Maintaining the Food Safety Program guidelines
• Ensuring all staff in catering department maintain safe food handling practices
• Model and demonstrate extensive knowledge of Arcare’s Values, Relationship-centered model of care and Senses-framework

Essential

• Current police clearance and Statutory Declaration that does not preclude working in Aged Care
• Relevant Industry Training – Food Handling and Hygiene 

Desirable

• Previous experience and working knowledge of menu planning, ordering and special diet preparation.
• Previous experience working in catering in a residential aged care facility.
