About the Role
The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of human resources services to Arcare residences and employees. Providing high-level professional support to the Group HR Manager, the Human Resources Business Partner is the ‘key point of contact’ for employees in regards to employment opportunities and employment relations at Arcare. In addition, the Human Resources Business Partner contributes to the recruitment program and appointment of employees. The Human Resources Business Partner will be required from time to time to travel to the various residences across Victoria.


Responsibilities
As the Human Resource Business Partner, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Ensure that Arcare complies with relevant IR, EBA, EEO, OH&S and training obligations
  • Assist the Group Human Resources Manager in day-to-day human resources functions
  • Workforce planning and change management projects, i.e. roster review
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Facilitate education on ER matters and Arcare initiatives
  • Be the ‘key point of contact’ for employees with respect to employment opportunities and employee relations at Arcare Employee Relations and direct support to our People Managers- conducting workplace investigations; including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and terminations  
  • Advise, guide and coach Residence Managers on all people related issues across the employee life cycle

Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or equivalent (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • IR/ER knowledge and experience
  • HR Administration & recruitment experience
  • Knowledge of employment law and related experience in areas such as equal opportunity and workplace safety
  • Experience building rapport and relationships with stakeholders
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of software relevant to the position, e.g. Microsoft office suite
  • Current Police Clearance and Statutory Declaration
  • Victorian Drivers Licence and own vehicle
