Arcare has exciting opportunity for a compassionate and experienced Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse, Grade 5) to join the team! As the successful candidate you will over see a unit of (number of beds) and lead a highly inspired team! 

About the opportunity
We are looking for a Nurse Manager who is flexible in their thinking and courageous in their actions. A person with compassion and empathy, who understand that attitudes are contagious (and who have one worth sharing).

Reporting directly to the Residence Manager, you will be leading a highly motivated team in your unit. You will oversee comprehensive care in accordance with the individual needs of the clients, implement and evaluate their care plans, maximize ACFI and ensure compliance to the Aged Care Legislation & Accreditation Standards.

You will liaise with clients, families, and medical professionals, and are encouraged to initiate and participate in innovative projects.

About yourself

• Proven experience at a senior nursing/management level
• Current AHPRA registration
• Have a genuine interest in and respect for the unique personality, history, and values of our clients
• Possess a compassionate, caring, and supportive nature
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent clinical documentation practice
• In depth understanding and experience with ACFI
• Be committed in ongoing clinical excellence
• Display a relationship centred approach to care and supervision
• Great understanding of care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation
• Demonstrated strong customer service ethos and commitment to quality and continuous improvement
