What do you enjoy about your role?

I enjoy the opportunity to develop great relationships and meaningful connections with my clients as well as their family members. Being a Nurse Unit Manager can be a very satisfying career if you have empathy for the needs of your clients.

How does this company differ from others you’ve worked for?

It’s the support I am getting from my superiors, the wonderful people I work with every day and the culture and way of approaching clients.

What do you love about Arcare and working in Aged Care?

What I love about Arcare is the team that I work with that goes above and beyond to provide the best centred care to the clients. They are always willing to go the extra mile to provide the best possible care.

What are your favourite stories of working at your residence / with your team / with a client?

When I come to work every Monday and my clients are genuinely happy to see me. They always greet me with a big smile and tell me that it is always good to have me back.

What tips or advice would you give to someone looking to work in Aged Care?

Learn as much as they can. Being passionate about their job and the care they provide to the clients.

What are your hobbies? What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I often watch cooking shows and I enjoy cooking in my spare time. On the weekends, I usually enjoy going for a short drives with family and friends.
