About the Role
 
As the Clinical Manager you will play a pivotal role within Arcare; having the responsibility of providing efficient and effective management of all resident care & wellbeing.  You will deliver the highest quality of clinical care along with compassion to every Arcare Resident while maintaining a supportive & positive work environment for the care team.
Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Resident Care: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs
  • Staff Supervision: Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers and support staff
  • Care Planning: Overseeing the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences
  • Medication Management: Ensuring proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols
  • Family Communication: Communicating effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate
  • Crisis Management: Handling emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively
What we’re looking for
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC
  • Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation
  • Capability to effectively lead and manage a team
