Laundry Attendant - Arcare Helensvale

Salary Range - Minimum $27.10- $29.61 per hour

Permanent Part time - 75 hrs a fortnight - Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm

• Must be available to work from Monday to Friday
• Experience in laundry and/or cleaning will be highly regarded

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the facility's laundry services. This role is crucial in ensuring that the residents have access to clean and well-maintained clothing, bed linens, and other fabric items.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Laundry Operations: Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, towels, and other fabrics used by residents and staff.
• Equipment: Regularly use, clean and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryers.
• Lost and Found: Maintain a system for lost and found items to ensure residents' belongings are returned promptly.
