About the Role

As an After-Hours Supervisor, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will play a key role in supporting residents, guiding care staff, and maintaining a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents
  • Leading and supervising nursing and care staff
  • Overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans
  • Ensuring safe and accurate medication administration
  • Providing effective communication and support to residents’ families and representatives
  • Responding to emergencies and managing critical incidents professionally and calmly
  • Maintaining compliance with aged care standards and organisational policies

What we’re looking for

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Bachelor of Nursing (or higher qualification)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care
  • Grade 5 Registered Nurse
  • Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated experience using ANNAC
  • Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and wound care
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High-level documentation skills in care planning and evaluation
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team
