Registered Nurse / Care Supervisor – Level 2

Two Positions Available | Full-Time & Fixed-Term

Arcare is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse / Care Supervisor (Level 2) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of Australia’s leading aged care providers in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Positions Available

  • Full-Time (Permanent)

    • Monday to Friday

    • 7:00am – 3:06pm or 8:00am – 4:06pm

    • 76 hours per fortnight

  • Fixed-Term (Maternity Leave Cover)

    • 4-month contract commencing mid-February

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse / Care Supervisor (Level 2), you will provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will play a key role in supporting residents, guiding care staff, and maintaining a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents

  • Leading and supervising nursing and care staff

  • Overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans

  • Ensuring safe and accurate medication administration

  • Providing effective communication and support to residents’ families and representatives

  • Responding to emergencies and managing critical incidents professionally and calmly

  • Maintaining compliance with aged care standards and organisational policies


Skills & Experience

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Bachelor of Nursing (or higher qualification)

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care

  • Grade 5 Registered Nurse

  • Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards

  • Demonstrated experience using ANNAC

  • Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and wound care

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • High-level documentation skills in care planning and evaluation

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team
