About the Role

As a Registered Nurse Level 2, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the care team while providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, as well as adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

  • Staff Supervision: Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers and support staff.
  • Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
  • Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
  • Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
  • Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
  • Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
  • End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support

What we’re looking for

  • Min 2 years experience in a Supervisor role or Clinical Lead role within Aged Care
  • Current AHPRA Registration (essential)
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards
  • Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Friendly, professional, and effective communication abilities
  • Capability to effectively lead.
