Permanent Part-Time – 39 hours per fortnight
Shifts: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
Rate: $29.39 per hour
About the Role
As a Café Attendant, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming café environment where residents, families, and visitors can relax, connect, and enjoy quality refreshments. Your role plays an important part in enhancing residents’ social interaction and overall wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing friendly, professional customer service
Preparing and serving coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and light snacks
Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
Assisting with café menu updates, considering dietary requirements and resident preferences
Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as required
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the café
Ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace health standards
Skills & Experience
Food Handlers Certificate (essential)
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
Adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn
Strong communication and teamwork skills
